Sugar Pet Shop: Creating Sweet Memories
After establishing a level of online presence, Sugar Pet Shop would now like to achieve stables sales, increase their brand value, and improve their target audience’s perception towards their brand.
I created a simple, yet memorable and versatile icon that can be seamlessly applied to the various touchpoints of the brand.
Sugar Pet Shop first started as a business made from friendship and a love for pets. Today, Sugar Pet Shop is a family owned online pet store that aims to improve the lives of its customers and their pets. Their mission is to help pet owners create sweet memories with their pets without burning a hole in their customers’ wallets.
In order to do so, Sugar Pet Shop employs a strict online and direct to consumer model where they cut out layers of middlemen and expensive retail rental expenses and sell directly to their customers. This helps Sugar Pet Shop reduce its costs and lower its selling retail price.
A FRESH START
I redesigned Sugar Pet Shop’s logo and created a new packaging design for their latest products. When designing the new logo, I had to make sure to retain the color green as it had already been used in many of their collaterals. The simplicity of the logo makes it both memorable and easily identifiable. The form evokes the friendliness and playfulness of Sugar Pet Shop. The icon can also be used as a design element in many of Sugar Pet Shop’s collaterals.
